Sat 5/22 – Seeds from withered stalks: A Benefit for the Hall

The roof passed inspection and some much more modest interior construction is occurring. Help us contemplate the move back into the space, the payment of utility deposits, the acquisition of whatever we need to make the space function.

Our Status

As many people have heard, the police shut down the Feb 13 Wolves in the Throne Room show and told us that, due to building code violations, we could no longer occupy the premises. All six Hall of the Woods tenants have vacated, and we are not booking future shows until there is a team of people again occupying a legitimate building. We can not give a particularly precise timeline as to when this will happen. Construction is occuring on the building currently; it is tentatively scheduled to be completed within a month, at which point we would be subject to inspections, but this is tentative. While this is obviously a scenario of fundamental change, any statements you may have heard that we are permanantly defunct are in error.

Thanks to everyone who has given us support, and we hope to see you all in our big, beautiful building soon.
